There is nothing more current and enduring than human emotions in all its manifestations: love, desire, triumph, fun, sadness, tenderness, calm, crying, pain, joy and many more. Feelings, our daily manifestations of the soul and the simplifications of being a human, they have that fantastic and terrible ability to manifest in our daily occurrence which has no differences in time. Dario Ortiz’s work represents with great eloquence, technique and artistic proposal, all this sensitivity towards the human spirit; doing so contemporary as the same being. This exhibition of 23 oil paintings are part of a itinerant that began at the seventh Beijing Biennial in 2017 toured several museums of Mexico, Colombia and the United States and the 58th Venice Biennale of 2019 where he participates with 7 large format paintings in the Pavilion of San Marino, invited by curator Vicenzo Sanfo. Dario Ortiz has been based for several years in Mexico City and his work is part of Important international collections.
