Everything you need to know about Zona MACO 2025

Zona MACO, held annually in Mexico City, has established itself as the most important art fair in Latin America and one of the most important in the world. Duque Arango Gallery will be present at the 2025 edition from 5 to 9 February, at Booth AM101, with a unique curatorship that highlights the dialogue between modern and contemporary in Latin American art.

What and when is ZONA MACO?

Founded in 2002 by Zélika García, Zona MACO has become an epicenter for galleries, artists, collectors and curators from all over the world. Every year, the fair offers a space to discover innovative trends, works by renowned international artists and pieces from emerging talents.

Divided into several sections, such as Contemporary Art, Design, Photography and Antique Fair, Zona MACO offers a diverse experience that allows you to explore different facets of art and culture.

The 2025 edition of Zona MACO will take place between 5 and 9 February.

Fernando Botero

Meet the paintings and sculptures of Fernando Botero in Zona MACO. The most famous artist in Colombia, Botero is famous for his voluminous figures and his style known as “boterismo.” His works reflect a subtle critique of society and an exploration of the cultural identity of Latin America.

Ariel Cabrera

This Cuban painter combines classical techniques with contemporary narratives. His works present stories laden with symbolism, appealing to fragments of collective memory and cultural identity.

Sair Garcia

Colombian artist highlighted for his innovative paintings on stainless steel. Sair García portrays the reality of some peoples in Colombia with a work in which he criticizes social and economic problems.

Oswaldo Guayasamín

Julio Larraz

Julio Le Parc

Omar Rayo
