Biography

Artista Andres Moreno representado por Galeria Duque Arango

Andrés Moreno is a Colombian artist born in 1984. From a young age, he was interested in the visual arts, which led him to begin his studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in the Faculty of Arts, where he focused on visual arts from 2002 onwards. He later expanded his training by studying industrial design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (until 2011) and completed a program in Interior Architecture at LaSalle College in 2016, integrating various disciplines and techniques into his artistic work.

His work combines classical elements with contemporary figures and symbols, exploring painting and sculpture through a visual language that dialogues between tradition and the present. Since his first commercial pieces, Moreno has experimented with shapes and colors applied to iconic figures from the global cultural imagination, developing a style of his own that has made him recognizable within the contemporary Colombian art scene.
