Zona Maco 2024: Highlights

The celebration of the 20th edition of Zona Maco, held February 7-11 at Centro Citibanamex, marked a milestone in the history of contemporary art by welcoming 81,000 visitors eager to explore the diversity and artistic excellence that characterizes this emblematic fair, in addition to accepting 212 national and international exhibitors.

The curatorial team, headed by Zélika García and Direlia Lazo, together with outstanding curators, was in charge of guaranteeing the quality and variety of the works presented, thus ensuring an enriching experience for visitors.

In addition to this, more than 20 activities were offered, such as award ceremonies, talks with important panelists, book presentations, among others, with the purpose of having a strong exchange of ideas and emphasizing cultural education.

This year, more than 50 groups from international museums and prestigious cultural institutions visited the fair, strengthening the ties between Latin American art and the global art scene.

ZONAMACO demonstrated that beyond being an art fair, it is a meeting point where creativity, innovation and talent converge to inspire art and culture lovers from all over the world.
