David Manzur

His work is characterized by the search for purism and perfection. He is also considered one of the Latin Americans of aseptic realism; a criticized and controversial painter, he always triumphs for the quality of his art, as in the exhibitions of Cali and Bogota in 1994, with a collection of horses with the title of St. George and the Dragon. Manzur has received several national and international awards including the Guggenheim Award (1961 and 1962) and the Government of Antioquia, at the second Medellin Biennial.
